These guided tours are organised every Saturday at 2.30 pm, alternately in French, German/Luxembourgish and English, in Esch-Alzette.

The “Memorial walk” leads to various sites of remembrance in Esch, including the museum, the synagogue square and the town hall, which were erected to commemorate the victims of the Nazi regime and the occupation as well as to celebrate the liberation. The tour integrates part of the approximately 40 “Stolpersteine” (stumbling stones) laid to commemorate – often Jewish – victims of the Nazis. Furthermore, the tour gives an overview of the architecture of Esch’s inner city in the early 20th century.
